weekly gratitude.

1. The kind people of the world who sent me their notes the day I missed class.

2. My mom.

3. Living close enough to home that I can come whenever I want i.e. when I'm deathly ill.

4. The miracle that is getting letters from Belgium to my house in 4 days.

5. Rain.

6. A warm and comfortable home with all the necessities anyone could ever need.

7. Modern medicine, tissues, vaseline (heaven-sent, mind you), humidifiers, and rice bags.

8. The piano.

9. A savings account.

10. The Plan of Salvation.

siiiiick.

So, we made it to Washington late Friday afternoon.

Sunday morning, I woke up SICK.

We went to church and I got sicker.

This morning, SICKER THAN A DOG.

So I stayed home, took a 20 minute steaming hot shower, took about an hour nap, and watched The Hunt for Red October while everyone else went out.

At least they didn't go to Seattle today like they were planning.

We're going tomorrow.

Hopefully I'm better by then.
